As I filled this jack-o-lantern with candy for the trick or treaters who will soon be coming, I realized I had the object for this week’s Weekly Photo Challenge. My son, Sreejit, made this beautiful piece of art when he was five-years-old. It has held treats on Halloween for the last 35 years!
Ah, that is SO sweet – especially that you kept it and still use it. Very good!

Poor thing is missing an eyebrow. But that’s pretty good for such a long life.

I hadn’t even noticed that there is an eyebrow missing. No doubt I forgot about it having happened some decades ago! To me it is precious as is.
Only had one trick or treater last night so it is still full of candy. I will more than likely be bringing some of it to India!

Ahh, that is so sweet! I still have most of the tresures the kids made too but now that you put the time on it, pretty soon they will be antiques!!!
