Last week was Ganesh Chaturthi, the yearly celebration of Lord Ganesh, the aspect of God that is the remover of obstacles. This beautiful statue of Ganesh was in Amma’s Amritapuri ashram during that time. Next year, I hope to be in Amritapuri during Ganesh Chaturthi!

My tentative plan is to be there end of August until middle of January. It remains to be seen whether I do it! I want to see how I do there without always being in the position of getting over jet lag.

Meditating skills…. me? Thanks for the laugh. I’m not aware that you do a lot of meditating during that time either. But I doubt I will have any trouble keeping myself busy.

Wow! Nice. And your goal of six months sounds awesome. I church the weather every day in Kerala and we are having similar temperatures. I cannot get over how cooler it is in Vancouver and Seattle. A good 10degrees Celsius

We had one week a few weeks ago where it was 95 degrees F and the next week it was 65. All in all it was a very cool summer this year.

I spend six weeks every year in Kerala, India. So many beautiful colors there. Your sunset post reminded me of sunrise and sunset photos I have taken there.

I used to have a little bit of group yoga sessions for therapeutical purposes with one Indian professor in Moscow, I remember he could detect the illness just by the heartbeat! I was deeply impressed…
