Wow, cool. And a triple “wish rock”. The boys and I used to find them up on South Beach on San Juan Island. Never seen a three ring one!

I didn’t know that kind of rock had a name! Thanks…..

i was told it was a native american tale…finding a rock with a complete ring around it means you can make a wish and then throw it into the water, or you can give it away. good choice for my little guys to have to make…

Problem was that I got so wrapped up in the rocks I forgot the landmarks back to the trail!

Oh no! Haha, did it end up being a longer hike than you were expecting?

No. I knew I was near my friend’s house but I couldn’t find a path that would go up the embankment to her house. So I called her on my cell and asked her to come outside to the path area and call for me. It turned out I had bypassed it. I’m glad there was reception. Now that I think about it, I’m really surprised there was reception because in her house you can only make calls if you are wi-fi. I was definitely graced.

If I couldn’t get her I would have eventually just crawled up the embankment. I think I could have found her house without too much trouble.

Wow you had quite the adventure!! At least your phone worked when you needed it, and you didn’t have to get dirty climbing up! It is good when things work out 😊
