allenge for this week was to present a photo, quote or poem representing “Splash of Color.” I decided to use a photo of the Fremont troll, which is a gigantic sculpture located under the Aurora Bridge in Seattle.

There isn’t any water in the immediate vicinity though. It is in a residential area!

Actually, there does have to be water not too far away, since it is under a bridge that goes over water! Since I have to drive through neighborhoods to get to it, I’ve never thought about the water aspect.
I read about the construction of the statue but never read about a myth. What do you know about it?

Just tales from Europe and other myths, they are a fun read and really add a little something to sightseeing 🙂

Wow this is one scary troll and rhe bright eye gosh!!! Shivers lol. I don’t think I would want to come across this but what a great sculpture I bet kids run and scream lol haha. Thank you so much for bringing this to Eclectic Corner I love it!!! Xxx
