“I claim to be no more than the average person with less than average ability. I have not the shadow of a doubt that any man or woman can achieve what I have, if he or she would make the same effort and cultivate the same hope and faith.”
— Mahatma Gandhi
What a timely (and wonderful), quote . . .
With gratitude and respect as ever, Hariod.

I’ve been thinking about that quote a lot lately and it occurred to me today that other people might like to read it too!

Oops I’m using my phone to comment and I may have accidentally commented twice now. I took a class on Gandhi in university in Canada and it had a profound effect on me. I’m always telling my children, often when discussing the environment, to do as Gandhi advised, which is don’t try to emulate him, or try to be perfect, but do what you can.

Nice! If we all did what we can, what a difference it would make in the world.

Thank you for sharing this quote, Karuna. He changed the lives and vision of so many around the world…it is up to those who believed in him to “do the best we can” and spread the word.
