Love how spring announces it’s beautiful entrance π

I love it too, although am uneasy that it is because of the weather changes. As a result spring started in early February, or maybe even January.
I heard that the tulip festival here is going to have to start early too and that there may not be tulips left by the end of the official festival.
It is so nice to have it warm though and I’m very grateful for that experience even if the cause for it is of concern.

This photograph reminds me so much of an almost identical Magnolia tree that grew in the garden of my home in Devon when I lived there a number of years ago. Whenever it was in flower, I made a point of sleeping in a bedroom, the windows of which looked directly out upon the tree. It became as if a friend to me, and although the flowering season was short, it always felt as if nature had bestowed some magical gift upon me, a blessing of sorts.

Around 1985, I remodeled my house. The kitchen windows were boarded up for three months! When the boards were taken down, the magnolia tree was in full bloom. It was a breathtaking sight. So I know what the experience you are talking about is like.

I found out why your replies disappeared. Akismet had decided they were spam. I can’t imagine why. So your comment is now up on my blog. Thanks so much for letting me know it happened.

Thank you Karuna. How odd that Akismet did that; it wasn’t as if I had included a photograph, video, or anything other than plain text, and I am a regular commenter here too of course.

I agree. It makes no sense at all.
