Three eyes came to mind when I read this week’s challenge. One is the eye of the Fremont troll. It resides under the Aurora Bridge in Seattle.
The second is the eye of a needle.

And the third is a photo that my friend Marla took of her dog Bodhi! Who could resist a look like this?

Beautiful picture! 🙂

Sweet, Karuna. You know, I have known that guy was there under the bridge for years but have never seen him close up. Time for a Road Trip with my Grandsons!!

Ah we saw it on that film 10 things I hate about you… I only saw it on my third time visiting. What a great place though so unique

That is a good word for it…. unique…… I found it when I was looking for a place to take my brother when he visited Seattle for the first time.

Did you go to Underground Seattle? I find that place fascinating too.

I loved Seattle the first m and second times. But struggled on the third as it felt poverty had really taken over

That’s strange. Were you in a different part of Seattle? There is so much growth and construction going on everywhere.

It was a good 5 years ago now and think the hostel I used to stay in lived from a beautiful converted warehouse by pikes market to the Chinatown district which was where the massacre took place and next to a train station that wasn’t very nice. So it’s more our fault for booking it…

The troll is fantastic. Is it a permanent sand sculpture?

The troll is made of steel rebar, wire and concrete. It is 18 feet high and weighs 13,000 pounds. In its left hand it isclutching a real Volkswagen Beetle!
