As I left the auditorium yesterday evening, I noticed there was a strange orange glow in the air. I looked up at the sky and it was blue. I didn’t know where the glow came from; it felt surreal.
When I turned the next corner, it became very windy. Once I reached the balcony on the fifth floor of of the building where I live, I could see a wide expanse of sky. The various colors and textures before me were striking.

Before long there was lightning and then rain poured from the sky!
What a gorgeous sky!! The sunsets are way too early here now, I can only get a glimpse from the window at work …too early to take a break and run up to the roof to take photos at 4p.m….can’t wait for the sunset to be at least at 5:30, then I can run up and see it and I like to chant my mantra there.

In India sunrise and sunsets never change. They are about 6:15 every day.

Love this pictures – last week I was traveling and in my rearview mirror I saw the most beautiful sunset ever. These pictures remind me of that sunset – thank you! 🙂

I “see” the sky a whole lot more than I used to although I know I still miss a lot of beautiful. What a gift it is.
