You are lovable even when you make mistakes.
Making mistakes is important for your growth.
You can learn from every mistake.
Making a mistake is one of those life situations that often leads to suffering. A mistake is “a wrong action or statement proceeding from faulty judgment, inadequate knowledge or inattention.” (Merriam-Webster, Inc. 1988 p. 760.)
An important step in letting go of the suffering is to adopt the mind-set that mistakes are an important and necessary part of living, and that something can be learned from every mistake. In time, you may even come to see making a mistake as a positive event rather than a negative one.
This week, record every mistake you make. Write down the tiny mistakes as well as the big ones. Next to the mistake, write what you learned from making it and what you will do differently in the future. Add more paper if you need to.
You are lovable even when you make mistakes.

You can learn from every mistake.
See you next Monday for the tenth lesson.

I’ve avoided these lessons for two reasons…I want to follow them weekely and apply them and for now, it is really not a great time emotionally…but I shall be back:)

I’m glad you will be coming back. I have no idea if people are reading and using them. I’m going to ask people to write about their experiences in the last post. Maybe I will add a feedback poll! I hadn’t thought of that. Doing that would be fun and interesting. I suspect they were used by some as a thought for the week even if they didn’t do the exercises.

Perhaps, since you have them combined under one category and listed on your menu( Letting Go of Suffering) that helps so if anyone wants t start from Week 1 and onward they can. Don’t forget, the first post was up the week of our Thanksgiving Nov 21st and up until after New Year`s it can be hectic for many…with the family reunions etc duing that time, this will be a nie opportunity for many to work on when they feel ready.

I’m going to post a list of all of them at the end as well as have a widget that will take them to that list.
Most of these lessons stand alone so some people can do it that way.
