Over the last year or so, I have become aware of how many red cars there are in my neighborhood. At one point yesterday, I noticed that on my block and in the first quarter of the next block there were 8 red cars!
I wonder if my little blue Toyota Corolla is feeling lonely!

I had a red Honda City for 28 years. Red cars are good in winter they hold the heat and are warmer to get into. 🙂 But I hope your blue car is not offended – sometimes it’s nice to be different. 🙂

It especially stands out with the unusual car rack on it. My daughter and her husband put it on to carry their kayak. So far I haven’t taken it down because I love being able to scan a parking lot and see my car immediately! 🙂

Yes, I think it’s feeling kind of blue.
P.S. Corollas are great in any colour.

At least my strange car rack has some red in it. Maybe that helps.
I agree about Corollas. Before I bought mine I asked my mechanic if I should get an Escort or a Corolla. He said it depends whether I want it to last 100,000 miles or 250,000. Mine is already 13 years old. I don’t expect to have to buy another car.

I have a Honda Civic which is 19 years old with 146k on the clock, and yet it runs flawlessly – all the electrics work as if new.
You probably treat your Corolla lovingly as you drive it, and it’s rewarding you Karuna. Try not to let anyone else use it – it likes you alone.

That’s a lot of red cars. I like the color of your car.
I bought a burnt orange car so I could find it easily in parking lots. Turns out that burnt orange is a favorite color around here. And the body style of my car is rather popular too. I came out once to find no less than four cars that look exactly like mine in the same parking lot. So I covered my car with vinyl wall stickers (birds mostly), If I could include pictures for you here, I would. Needless to say, I can now find my car. 🙂
