Sanskrit Practice
In my Seattle area Sanskrit class, part of our homework is to write 10 sentences in Sanskrit each week. I enjoy putting them on my blog every now and then. (I have my teacher correct my work before I post them!) This week, I described some of my Tuesday, December 16 activities.
In the morning I sewed costumes for the play.
At one thirty I received lunch from Amma.
At two thirty I walked to town.
I bought green cloth and black cloth.
The black cloth is for costumes for the play.
I gave the green cloth to the tailor.
She will sew pants for me.
Then I went to the bakery.
I ate ice cream.
Afterwards, I went back to the ashram.
I studied Sanskrit till 8th Grade. I am glad I can almost understand your sentences. 🙂
