I recently published a post about some dahlia buds that had bloomed in mid October. Today I noticed that the flowers are becoming even more beautiful. Pretty amazing for November in Seattle.

As long as they don’t freeze and get water they will still bloom. Probably until there just isn’t enough daylight.

I remember flowers still being on the plant when I’ve left for India the end of November. I think I’m just more aware of them this year because the buds were so tiny when I cut off the dead flowers. I thought it was too late in the season for those to bloom. I was wrong!
