Kathmandu Monkeys


A friend sent photos of some monkeys that he saw in Kathmandu.

Washington State, North Carolina and Georgia Beauty

Vedavati came to the US from India to get a new visa. She visited me in Washington State while she was in the US, and we had a nice time together. These are some of the photos from her trip. This first picture was taken here in Washington.

Her finger is in the way but you can enlarge the photo to see the farmhouses. Vedavati loved them.

I loved seeing the beautiful and expansive sights in the three US states. Thanks to Vedavati that we can all enjoy the sights on her trip together.

Texas Beauty #2

At a place in the Texas hill country called McKinley Falls, there has been such a drought that the falls little more than trickled. There was also a swimming hole but none of us had a swimming suit. But still, it was beautiful to see.

Inside Natural Bridge Caverns. It’s called the Emerald Pool.
In this cavern, it was 100% humidity. This is water dripping from what is called a veil. We got water dropped in us a few times.

Texas Beauty

Vedavati had to go back to the United States to get a new visa.

Sunrise at Galveston Beach where I’ve gone to all my life, until I left Texas. It was fabulous to go back there.
These Oleanders almost made me feel I was back in Amritapuri. Galveston is full of them too

He’s Still Here # 2

We are still wondering how long the monkey will stay! My daughter took a video and photo of it on Monday.

Amritapuri, India Sunset 4/15/22

Vedavati thought this cloud looked like a dog. I thought it looked more like a cat.
This formation looks more like a dogs head. In fact it looks like Bhakti, the ashram dog that died recently.
This “head” looks even more like Bhakti.

Vedavati says the lights are fishing boats. The fishermen start their work early.
